Bio
I'm very good at talking about myself, but I'll try:

I'm a college student majoring in Game Art & Design in Colorado and I'm from Texas. My first introduction to manga was through my sister. She let me read WISH by CLAMP, and I suddenly got hooked into manga (and manhwa).

My favorite manga magazines are Monthly Comic Blade, the defunct Comic Blade Masamune, Monthly Shonen Gangan, Monthly Gangan WING, & Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh so far.

I love playing video games, mostly RPGs, space shooters, some action, & puzzle. My favorite games are: Xenogears, FINAL FANTASY VII, FINAL FANTASY IX, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Disgaea series, Wild ARMS 2, Ar tonelico series, the Gradius series, Einhander,....so far that's it right now. I enjoy playing the Summon Night Swordcraft Story games on Game Boy Advance.

I'm the type of person who doesn't care much for the effects of graphics in video games (how good or real the graphics are in the game), not do I care much for the "the realism factor" in games today. As long as the gameplay, content, and storyline is good, then the game is overall good and enjoyable, For me, I love 2D graphics and animation. Yeah, I like 3D graphics & animation too, but not as much as 2D though. Don't get me wrong though; I think that 3D graphics and animation is wonderful and impressive there are some areas that 3D graphics can handle that 2D can't, and vice versa. So 2D & 3D both have their own pros and cons, and I play both 2D & 3D games, I just still appreciate 2D a lot more. I really don't give a care about the overall human realism a video game should have, like in American superhero comic books. However I enjoy video games that uses the techniques of "manga shading" in video game graphics. Examples include Shining Tears EXA, Samurai Legend Musashi, some of the Naruto games, etc.

My favorite video game companies so far would be: Square Enix (though a few of their games lack some substance after the merger happened), ATLUS, Banpresto, Flight-Plan , Nippon Ichi, Konami, Gust, & VanillaWare.

My favorite manga publishers so far are Mag-Garden, Square Enix, & ASCII MediaWorks. I a person who is attracted to manga art, and taht's when I caught an illustration online from a manga called Erementar Gerad. The moment I looked at it, I was amazed and entranced by it. Then I steadily got into Mag Garden and pretty much got into other manga publishers like Square Enix (Enix, technically for their Gangan) or ASCII MediaWorks for their Dengeki Daioh. The more I looked up on the manga and mangakas of Mag Garden, the more interested I become. Yeah, I know it's weird as to how I ever got into Mag Garden in the first place. However once I got my first volume of Erementar Gerad (Elemental Gelade) from TOKYOPOP and read it, it immediately became one of my favorite series. I have read some other works by Mag Garden: Gamerz Heaven, ARIA, Beyond the Beyond, Your & My Secret, and Monochrome Factor.

I can't fully read Japanese yet, I can only read the simplest kanji (the Japansese alphabet, I guess). As for speaking Japanese, just familiar phrases that I learned and picked from watching anime.

My career goals is to become a video game artist, video game designer, mangaka (manga artist), cartoonist, digital illustrator, & tutor.
